Job summary

State of Indiana is seeking a Highway Maintenance Laborer for INDOT's Logansport Unit. You will perform general maintenance on Indiana highways, including litter cleanup, pothole filling, drainage upkeep, snow operations, and emergency traffic control.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL or obtain one within 90 days.
• Must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform general highway maintenance to keep roads clean and safe.
• Fill potholes, maintain drainage, and assist with snow operations.
• Support emergency road closures and traffic control as needed.
• Operate basic highway maintenance/traffic equipment and inspect/maintain gear.
