Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience or equivalent.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• CDL Class A license must be obtained within six months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Operates slope mower with Buzz Bar in limbing and sloping on highway right-of-ways.
• Operates tandem dump truck for hauling concrete pipes, asphalt, dirt, limestone, debris, etc.
• Uses front-end loader and backhoe to clean drainage ditches and install sideline/cross line pipe and remove fallen trees on-call.
• Maintains and uses power tools for maintenance operations and performs pre-operation vehicle/equipment inspections.
• Sets up traffic control per SCMUTCD Standards and responds to emergency operations after hours.
