Qualifications

  • Six (6) months of related work experience or equivalent.
  • Requires a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
  • Must obtain Class A CDL within six months of placement.
  • Physical demands include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs; work outdoors in all weather and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as rollers, skid steers, water trucks, and tandem dump trucks.
  • Assist with placement of traffic control devices and act as flagger as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and hazardous weather conditions as required.
