Qualifications

• Valid North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions by first day.
• Cargo tank endorsement (N) by first day.
• Two years of relevant experience or one year and one season of winter operations.
• Equipment Operator I requires Class B license without air brake restrictions.
• If no candidate is found, may fill as Equipment Operator in Training with Class A permit and 12 months to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to perform highway, roadway and structure maintenance.
• Maintain roadways and keep them clear of hazards, litter, debris, etc.
• Perform building and ground maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment.
