Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have ND Class A license w/o air brake restrictions with cargo tank endorsement by start date.
• For Operator I, must have ND Class B license w/o air brake restrictions.
• Two years of relevant experience or one year plus one winter-season experience preferred.
• Candidates may be considered for Equipment Operator in Training with license and endorsement goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for highway and roadway maintenance.
• Install, repair, and maintain highway signs and guardrails.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, and radio systems.
• Work extended hours including weekends during emergencies as required.
