Job summary

State of Missouri's MoDOT Camdenton Maintenance Facility is seeking a Maintenance Crew Leader to supervise a crew performing highway maintenance duties, set up work zones, and ensure safety in a dynamic field environment.

You will operate tractors, dozers, loaders and other equipment, monitor supplies, maintain records, and inspect bridges and roadways to assess needs.

A valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and five years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, no air brake restrictions, interstate status (EI or NI).
• Five years of roadway, roadside, bridge or sign maintenance or pavement marking experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance crews during highway operations and set up work zones.
• Operate highway maintenance equipment (tractors, dozers, loaders, trucks, graders, snowplows).
• Oversee material usage and may prepare and submit reports; assist in maintaining employee records.
• Oversee routine maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Inspect bridges and roadways to determine maintenance needs and progress.
