Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking a Maintenance Crew Leader for the Ballas Maintenance Facility in St. Louis, MO.

The role leads crews, sets up work zones, and performs highway maintenance across a variety of tasks, ensuring safety and quality in every operation. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, monitoring material usage, maintaining records, and inspecting bridges and roadways for maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement, no air brake restrictions, interstate status (EI or NI).
• Five years of roadway/bridge/sign maintenance or pavement marking experience.
• Successful completion of a work simulation examination and a medical-physical examination.

Responsabilités

• Leads maintenance crews, sets up work zones and performs highway maintenance tasks.
• Operates highway maintenance equipment such as tractors, dozers, loaders, trucks, graders and snowplows.
• Oversees material usage, may prepare reports and maintain employee records.
• Oversees routine maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Inspects bridges and roadways to determine maintenance needs and progress.
