Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in repair, maintenance, inspection and testing of automotive and highway maintenance equipment.
• Three years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Note: for state employees this experience is interpreted at a Transportation Maintenance Crew Leader (Automotive Maintenance) level.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, assigns, oversees and reviews the work of staff.
• Provides staff training and assistance.
• Conducts performance evaluations.
• Determines priorities and plans area work.
• Inspects for the proper care and maintenance of equipment and buildings.
