Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in civil engineering with interest in transportation/highway projects.
• Coursework or interest in civil/structural design and drafting.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into systems.
• Edit and update engineering drawings in MicroStation with Power Geopak and OpenRoads Designer.
• Obtain design data from adjacent or similar projects and go-bys.
• Coordinate new small-scale projects with a team.
• Assemble data and research site information and design standards.
• Provide input on solutions using basic engineering fundamentals.
• Assist with layout and design of routine small/medium projects.
• Develop and prepare specifications and maintain project documentation.
• Participate in weekly seminars and final internship presentation.
