The Oswego County Highway Department has an immediate opening for a Highway Engineer responsible for the design, maintenance, and repair of County highways and roads.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a master’s degree in civil engineering and five (5) years of engineering experience, including bridge and highway design and construction; OR
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and six (6) years of relevant experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: NYS license as a professional engineer.

Salary Range:

$80,491 to $106,437 per year plus a competitive benefits package including health, vision, dental, life insurance, NYS Retirement, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
