HDR, Inc. is seeking an Area Highway Digital Design Lead to steer BIM and 3D modeling for highway and local roads projects. You will drive digital design strategy, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure consistent, scalable workflows across the region.

The role blends strategy with hands-on delivery, client engagement, and staff development. Strong BIM and data management experience are essential for success in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent with strong background in highway design.
• 5+ years digital design (BIM element authoring) experience and 3+ years digital delivery (model management).
• Experience implementing CAD/BIM standards and common data environments.
• Advanced BIM techniques like clash detection, 4D, model health checks, GIS, digital twins.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical support and coordination.
• Excellent client-facing communication and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead digital design and BIM initiatives for highway projects across the area.
• Coordinate with Transportation and Highways Digital Delivery leadership to align standards.
• Guide teams through digital delivery lifecycle from pursuit to construction support.
• Develop client-specific digital delivery standards and workflows.
• Lead model-based quality reviews and resolve coordination issues.
• Mentor staff and expand regional digital capabilities.
