HDR, Inc. is seeking an Area Highway Digital Design Lead to spearhead digital design, BIM coordination, and 3D modeling for highway and local roads projects.

You will mentor teams, lead the digital delivery lifecycle, and collaborate with HDR’s Transportation Digital Delivery leadership to raise project quality and consistency. The role emphasizes client engagement, standards development, and regionally expanding model-based delivery across projects, with a focus on design excellence and staff

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; 5+ years in digital design (BIM) and 3+ years in model management for transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of discipline relations and building systems; advanced 3D design software and document management.
• Experience with CAD/BIM standards, data environments, and model-based QA processes.
• Experience using CAD/BIM tools and data practices such as clash detection, 4D phasing, GIS integration, and digital asset management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead digital design, BIM, and 3D modeling initiatives for highway projects.
• Serve as primary contact for local needs, coordinating with leadership.
• Guide projects through the digital delivery lifecycle from pursuit to construction support.
• Develop and maintain client-specific delivery standards and workflows.
• Lead model-based quality reviews and mentor staff across the region.
• Support marketing and client engagement by showcasing HDR’s digital delivery capabilities.
