Position Overview

Our Phillipsburg, NJ office has an immediate opening for a Mid-level Highway Design / Hydraulics & Hydrology Engineer. This role involves working with designers on roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects for government clients. It is a full-time, immediate opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• EIT and PE certifications are a plus
• 5+ years of highway engineering and/or hydraulics & hydrology experience preferred
• Experience with NJDOT, county, or municipal clients is a plus
• Proficiency in hydrology & hydraulic analysis, drainage, and erosion control design
• Experience with NJDEP permit applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical writing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with stormwater design software (HEC programs, HydroCAD, StormCAD, HY-8, Pond Pack, or equivalent)
