Job summary

Qualifications

• Level I: High school diploma or GED.
• Level II: Associate degree in STEM, construction management, or related field, plus 1 year of transportation experience (or 2 years).
• Level III: Associate degree in STEM, construction management, or related field, plus 3 years (or 5 years) of transportation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee highway construction inspections and material sampling.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance with plans and specs.
• Submit test records, diaries, and progress reports.
• Train new staff and provide guidance on procedures.
