Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic construction materials and safety practices.
• Ability to collect, maintain, and record field data and prepare inspection reports.
• Proficiency with computer and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and field testing of materials per guidelines.
• Submit accurate test records and samples to residency lab.
• Maintain Construction Management System records and update data.
• Inspect contractor’s work for compliance with plans and specs.
• Communicate with stakeholders and landowners affected by projects.
• Document progress with measurements, calculations, and work events.
• Submit progressive estimates and time/diary reports.
• Operate agency vehicles and other equipment safely.
• Conduct safety reviews.
• Resolve disputes and interpretation with contractors.
• Use agency software to document reports such as Daily Work Reports and Diaries.
