We are offering an exciting opportunity for an entry-level civil/highway designer to join our award-winning highway/roadway practice in our New York City office. This is an opportunity to apply your skills, contribute to major projects, and be mentored by experienced engineers delivering projects for some of the area's largest municipalities.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in designing and developing conceptual, alternative, and final plans for highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects.
2. Assist in designing and producing traffic control, staging plans, and traffic signing and striping plans.
3. Perform geometric designs and plan development using software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, InRoads, AutoTurn, and GuideSign.
4. Assist in designing ADA-compliant facilities, including sidewalks, shared-use paths, and intersection curb ramps.

Requirements

1. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
2. Zero to five years of civil engineering experience.
3. Detail-oriented, self-starting, and team-oriented.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
6. Experience with MicroStation V8i and Bentley InRoads (preferred).
7. EIT certification and prior internship experience (preferred).

Benefits
