Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Carpenter to perform skilled and semi-skilled construction work on highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects. The role involves fabricating and installing formwork, assisting with concrete placement, and operating a wide range of tools.

Qualifications

2–5 years of carpentry experience in construction, preferably in heavy highway environments.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and layout.
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and maintain high-quality workmanship.
General construction knowledge and familiarity with industry safety practices.

Responsibilities

Safely perform highway and bridge structure formwork, including curb and gutter form fabrication.
Assist masons with placing and finishing concrete, including flatwork and structural elements.
Read and interpret construction plans, basic design documents, and specifications.
Ensure work complies with applicable Building Code requirements.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
Perform physical labor as needed to support project progress.
Follow directions from the Project Superintendent and work effectively as part of a field crew.
