Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Highrise Lobby in Los Angeles, CA to monitor and safeguard tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate location. You will provide outstanding customer service, deter security incidents, and report observations while maintaining a visible security presence.

This full-time role pays $21.60 per hour. Minimum requirements include at least six months of security experience, a HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting maintenance and security issues.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift communications per site procedures.
