Job summary

Teachers 4 U seek experienced HLTA's for schools across London and outer areas. The HLTA will cover Key Stage 1 & 2, starting asap, with a view to permanency for the right candidate.

Duties include supporting small groups in numeracy and literacy, covering Nursery through to Year 6 as needed.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, have recent HLTA UK experience, strong IT skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa/Passport)
• Have a keen interest in visual arts and help students with their practical work
• Possess strong IT skills and be highly organised in administration
• Have recent classroom experience as a HLTA in the UK (essential)
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Possess valid references, DBS/police checks

Responsibilities

• Intervention work with small groups of children and supporting students to develop their numeracy & literacy skills
• Cover Nursery through to Year 6 classes; may also be taking intervention groups
• Back-up duties including supporting classroom activities and administration

Our warm and welcoming primary schools in London are looking to appoint Higher Level Teaching Assistants to cover in key-stage 1 & 2. Positions are available to start asap and are made permanent for the right candidate.

The HLTA will covering in Nursery through to year 6 classes. They may also be taking intervention groups too.

The role will also include the following duties and responsibilities:

Intervention work with small groups of children and supporting students to develop their numeracy & literacy skills

Competitive daily rate of up to £100 per day (depending on experience)
