PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota seeks a Project Manager (Higher Education) to lead complex higher-ed construction projects. You will oversee contracts, safety plans, budgets, schedules and quality, while mentoring staff and coordinating design progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of progressive construction experience, including Higher Education projects.
• Demonstrated safety culture leadership and knowledge of health, safety and environment principles.
• Broad construction knowledge including materials, methods, codes, and quality management.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills for budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support for a large or complex construction project.
• Leads project safety plan development and fosters a safety culture on site.
• Oversees total construction to align with design, budget, resources, quality and schedule.
• Identifies value engineering opportunities for functionality, cost, and schedule benefits.
• Monitors performance reports for safety, cost forecasts, and schedule.
• Negotiates subcontracts and major purchase orders while tracking progress.
• Manages contract documents and coordinates project commissioning and closeout.
• Identifies risks and opportunities and communicates them to stakeholders.
• Mentors project team and coordinates design progress, quality audits, and deliverables.
