Job summary

FlatWorld is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive adoption of our digital-first textbooks and Homework system in higher education. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and close deals with instructors at top institutions.

This remote-friendly role starts with training, with field work on campus during peak seasons; requires 40+ hours weekly and a focus on new revenue. Base pay is $65k-$75k plus uncapped commissions and full benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and follow-through abilities.
Comfort with technology and learning new tools; Mac environment familiarity.
Ability to forge internal and external relationships with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a territory plan focused on Tier 1 accounts.
Uncover opportunities through inbound inquiries and direct prospecting.
Attain and surpass sales goals by building relationships and awareness of FlatWorld.
Refine selling approaches using feedback and sales tools and reports.
Manage company resources and marketing collateral with compliance.
Client facing role and coordination with Customer Success.
Commit to 40+ hours per week and travel during peak seasons.
