Job summary

Rowan College at Burlington County is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer to lead IT operations and execute the college's technology strategy as the CIO's principal operational partner.

The DCIO will align academic and administrative computing, instructional design, multimedia resources, and library services across campuses, ensuring reliable infrastructure, strong security, and exceptional service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive IT leadership experience in higher education or multi-campus environments.
• Proven experience coordinating with outsourced partners for ERP maintenance and server infrastructure.
• Experience with business process improvement and productivity suites.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises internal department heads for Multimedia Resources, Instructional Technology & Design, Technical Support Services, and Library support.
• Translates strategic directions into actionable tactics, service standards, and project workflows for all IT departments.
• Monitors SLAs for ERP, network, and server infrastructure with outsourced partners.
• Coordinates LMS and digital collections integration with back-end enterprise systems.
• Represents IT on campus-wide technology committees and user groups.
• Oversees purchasing and inventory lifecycles; enforces security protocols across staff and enterprise apps.
