Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years.
• Experience retrieving data from ERP systems (Banner/PeopleSoft) using programming languages or data tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience querying, transforming, and analyzing data to produce usable information.

Responsibilities

• Develop working knowledge of reporting requirements, institutional data, data definitions, processes, and stakeholders to support data needs and ensure reliable analysis.
• Serve as primary data coordinator for UNC System Office Student DataMart, external reporting, and rankings.
• Support IRAP and campus stakeholders with routine and ad-hoc data requests and summaries.
• Conduct data analysis and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to federal and state reporting, rankings, and study needs throughout the year.
• Collaborate with university contacts and IRAP analysts on data/reporting projects.
• Create documentation for programs, datasets, and reports.
• Perform data validation and quality reviews of reports and data.
