Federated Hermes, Inc. invites applications for the Investment Analyst role on the Fixed Income High Yield team in Pittsburgh.

You will conduct credit analysis, build proprietary earnings models, and publish research for internal use while maintaining daily contact with portfolio managers and traders. This position requires 3–5 years of investment analysis experience, strong financial modeling skills, and proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with accounting courses required; MBA/CFA preferred.
• 3–5 years of investment analysis experience in High Yield or related fields.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high‑level fundamental issuer analysis, including financial modeling and industry trend assessment.
• Develop investment ideas and clearly present buy/sell/hold recommendations to portfolio managers.
• Maintain timely documentation of research and participate in research meetings.
• Collaborate with team on evaluating issuer sustainability objectives.
