Job summary

Burns Honda is seeking a Used Car Recon Technician to join our Used Car Reconditioning Department in New Jersey. The role involves inspecting and reconditioning a wide range of vehicles, diagnosing mechanical concerns, and delivering quality repairs in a high-volume environment.

Candidates should have automotive technician experience, proficiency with multiple makes and models, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

Previous automotive technician experience.
Ability to work on all makes and models.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Experience with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning preferred.
Identify needed mechanical and safety repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning.
Diagnose and repair mechanical concerns.
Perform brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, fluid services, and general mechanical repairs.
Identify safety and mechanical concerns during inspection.
Complete repairs efficiently to help maintain Used Car Department inventory flow.
Maintain accurate repair documentation.
Communicate additional repair needs to management.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
