Qualifications

• Culinary School degree or 2–5 years of kitchen experience.
• Catering experience is a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality work.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining an exceptionally clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Prior experience in catering, restaurants, and/or formal culinary school training is required.
• NYS Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare hot and cold lunch items daily according to menu and chef's instructions.
• Set up serving stations and serve lunch to 500+ patrons.
• Catering set ups as needed; cleaning and organization of kitchen.
