Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Baker at Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN. The shift runs 5:30 am to 2:00 pm in a high-volume school kitchen. Prior baking experience is required, and uniforms plus shift meals are provided. An internal referral bonus is available.

As a Baker you will prepare baked goods per recipes, maintain sanitation, and support quality and safety standards in a fast-paced educational dining program.

Qualifications

• Previous baking experience required.
• High volume kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area.
• Ensures proper presentation, food quality and serving temperatures.
• Helps with production records and waste tracking; notifies supervisor when supplies are low.
• Assists with customer service and keeps pace with peak production and service.
