Flik Independent School Dining at Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a full-time Baker to prepare baked goods for daily production, following recipes and production specifications.

The role requires prior baking experience, preferably in a high-volume kitchen; schedule is 5:30 am–2:00 pm with uniforms and shift meals provided. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Previous baking experience required.
• High volume kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production sheets.
• Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and equipment.
• Maintain sanitation and organization of equipment, supplies and work area.
• Assist with production records including waste tracking and shortages; notify supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure food presentation, quality, and serving temperatures meet standards.
• Handle food safely following safety regulations.
• Complete shift work promptly and thoroughly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
