Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take ownership of a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant in Altoona, PA.

This leader will build strong teams, drive profitability, and lead daily operations with hands-on involvement, focusing on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Base salary is $70,000–$80,000 with performance bonuses, benefits, 401(k), paid vacation, and clear opportunities for career growth.

Formación

• Proven restaurant management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of P&L statements, labor costs, and profitability.
• Experience overseeing staffing, scheduling, inventory, and daily operations.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and hold employees accountable.
• Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems and operational reporting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable leading from the floor and balancing financial performance with guest satisfaction.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations.
• Drive sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Manage P&L results, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and controllable expenses.
• Forecast sales, develop schedules, and adjust staffing to meet business demands.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant managers and hourly employees.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Build a positive, accountable team culture focused on performance and retention.
• Work hands-on during peak business periods and resolve guest concerns.
