Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services in Houston is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for multiple locations. You will manage full-cycle recruiting, partner with hiring managers, source candidates, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and extend offers.

This six-month, full-time position is benefits-eligible and designed for someone who can ramp up quickly, work independently, and maintain a strong candidate experience while supporting growth across the district.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience.
• Experience in high-volume or multi-location environments.
• Full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, and offers.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruiting lifecycle from posting to offer.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, and direct sourcing.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain timely updates.
• Complete pre-employment screenings and background checks.
• Partner with hiring managers to set priorities.
