Job summary

10X Health System is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator in Scottsdale, AZ to manage the full lifecycle of patient appointment scheduling across our national telehealth platform. You will own booking, reminders, and rapid recovery of missed visits in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical scheduling, strong communication, and HIPAA-compliant practices. Onsite role with a focus on efficient calendaring and patient care continuity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical scheduling or patient coordination.
• CRM systems experience (Salesforce, HubSpot); Salesforce preferred.
• Associate degree preferred; HS diploma or GED considered.

Responsibilities

• Schedule new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, and care plan reviews across provider calendars.
• Process appointment requests via phone, email, patient portal, and referrals.
• Document appointment details in Salesforce and the EMR/scheduling system with accuracy.
• Monitor queues for no-shows and late cancellations; take corrective action.
• Outbound outreach to recover missed/cancelled appointments within SLAs.
• Escalate repeated missed appointments to care coordination.
• Send proactive reminders at 48- and 24-hour intervals.
• Identify barriers to attendance before the appointment date.
• Provide empathetic support with HIPAA-compliant communications.
• Track scheduling metrics and surface insights to operations.
