Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA is seeking an experienced Pastry/Bakery team member to assist the Pastry Chef in creating quality baked goods for high-volume service. You will coach the assistant baker and help manage production flow.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong guest service, and the ability to work fast in a busy kitchen, including weekends and holidays. Must meet HAACP guidelines and maintain equipment safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Exceptional guest service skills required.
• At least 2 years relevant work history baking big bulk batches.
• Experience in high volume scratch baking, bread doughs, cake, wedding cake and pastry decorating.
• Detail oriented, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pastry Chef in creating quality baked goods and coaching the assistant baker.
• Forecast usage based on set pars using a product mix.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of bakery supplies.
• Follow HAACP guidelines when handling, preparing, storing or stocking food items.
• Attends mandatory department, casino and training meetings.
• Works days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
