Job summary

City Cellars is a scratch-driven bistro and brunch restaurant seeking a Line Cook to execute brunch, lunch, and dinner items with precision and speed. You will maintain high flavor, portions, presentation, sanitation, teamwork, and station readiness across AM br etch and PM service.

Lead cooks direct station assignments and prep priorities while ensuring food safety and timely communication. Open availability is required for a fast-paced kitchen operated through dayparts.

Qualifications

• Prior high-volume scratch-kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong culinary fundamentals and knife skills.
• Effective communication in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lb.
• Open availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare brunch, lunch, and dinner items according to approved recipes and plating specs.
• Demonstrate station techniques for AM brunch and PM service.
• Communicate ticket calls, timing, shortages, and delays clearly.
• Set up and restock stations to par levels; maintain mise en place.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and portion-control procedures.
