Job summary

Brooklyn Brewery is seeking a diligent Dishwasher to support a busy kitchen operation in our Williamsburg venue. You will maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchenware and back-of-house spaces to keep service moving smoothly.

You'll work across two active kitchens, a prep area, and bars, with duties including washing, sanitizing, rotating stock, and assisting the line and prep teams during peak service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of dishwashing or back-of-house experience preferred.
• Ability to work at a steady pace through long, high-volume services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation and warewashing per Brooklyn Brewery standards and NYC health regulations.
• Operate and maintain dish machine and glass washer; monitor temps and sanitizer levels.
• Keep dish area clean, drained, and organized throughout shifts.
• Support prep, pizza, and line teams by providing clean pans, tools, and equipment.
• Move and organize bus tubs, racks, and equipment between kitchens and prep areas; assist with waste disposal.
• Complete opening/closing dish checklist and stock assigned areas for next shift.
• Communicate with kitchen teams to prioritize dish flow and glassware par levels.
