Job summary

Suddath is seeking an Independent Contractor Recruiter to build a robust pipeline of qualified ICs for delivery and logistics operations across markets. You will source, screen, and onboard 1099 contractors while ensuring compliance and strong relationships with business leaders.

This role requires multi-market coordination, excellent communication, and the ability to travel as needed within the United States. A background in logistics recruitment and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting; logistics or contractor recruiting preferred
• Knowledge of 1099 independent contractor model and compliance standards
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple markets and deadlines
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus; willing to work non-traditional hours

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and onboard Independent Contractors for delivery and logistics operations
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified ICs for market-specific needs
• Forecast capacity with local market leaders to address recruitment gaps
• Ensure compliance requirements for ICs (insurance, background checks, equipment)
• Track recruitment activity, conversions, and onboarding milestones
• Collaborate with Compliance, Fleet, and Operations for onboarding/offboarding
• Maintain accurate ATS records and recruitment dashboards
• Conduct exit interviews to inform retention strategies
• Monitor IC capacity trends and recommend actions
• Support recruitment marketing campaigns and vendor partnerships
