Job summary

Hilton Woodland Hills/Los Angeles is seeking a seasoned culinary professional for a high-volume kitchen role. You will prep before Runway opens and for Banquet events, cook to specification, and maintain clear communication with the Restaurant Director, Stewarding, Cooks, Runway and Banquet Servers.

Responsibilities include proper food handling, rotation, and coordinating leftovers with the kitchen supervisor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary experience in a high volume setting.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Culinary or Apprenticeship program preferred.
• Good working knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Full prep before Runway opens for service.
• Full prep before Banquet event.
• Cook all food at the proper time per Executive Chef guidelines.
• Maintain open communication with F&B staff and others.
• Handle and rotate food according to procedures.
