Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Cook at the Anchorage Convention Centers to maintain and prepare meats, fish, soups and hot foods, ensuring quality and presentation.

You will work with the Chef’s staff, follow catering function orders, and ensure health standards are met; a MOA Food Handlers Card is required.

The role involves early morning to late night shifts, high-volume production, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mathematics to assess dry and liquid weights and measurements.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of foodservice health and safety standards."

Responsibilities

• Maintain, set up, and produce hot foods to high standards.
• Set up and work stations for buffets and receptions as requested.
• Assist Sous Chef by training new staff on procedures and presentation.
• Store all food properly with dates and labels to protect against waste and spoilage.
