PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under direction of the Executive Culinary Team, Cook B will be responsible for effectively supporting all culinary operations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Timely execution of station requirements to the specification of the Executive Culinary Team.
- Follow recipes and cook to desired specifications.
- Employ intermediate knife skills and techniques, including classic vegetable cuts.
- Setup and operate buffet carving/action stations.
- Perform entry‑level meat butchery, fish butchery, protein carving, and proper portioning of proteins.
- Create classic sauces, soups, and stocks with minimal supervision.
- Produce cold foods such as guacamole, salads, dressings, vinaigrettes, sandwiches, cut fruit, fruit salad, and ready‑to‑eat dips and spreads; handle bagging of cold food.
- Prepare hot foods, including sauces, reheating, smoking, roasting, grilling, braising of proteins, using tilt skillets, combi ovens, grills, and fryers.
- Serve a la carte restaurant service across multiple stations in a fast‑paced environment.
- Use production sheets and event orders accurately with little supervision.
- Assist in expediting events or service when cook A, supervisor, or management is absent.
- Coordinate with premium purchasing/warehouse to understand needs and aid the daily ordering process.
- Show willingness to learn, persistently maintain positive guest relations, and ensure highest quality product to guests.
- Provide efficient service and quality products per culinary management direction.
- Ensure equipment is operational and cleaned regularly.
- Show flexibility by rotating to other service locations within the kitchen and property as needed.
- Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- 2–3 years of cooking and food prep experience in the food service industry, preferably in premium services, catering, and concessions for sports/entertainment venues or high‑volume restaurants or hotels.
- Effective communication with co‑workers and management.
- Strong commitment to customer and client service with initiative and culinary skill.
- Customer service oriented with ability to interact with all management levels.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capable of working in a team environment.
- High level of attention to detail and organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 18 years old.
- Willing to work hours that vary according to the event schedule.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions. Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Compensation
$28.50 – $31.70 hourly.
