Job summary

Winsupply is seeking a Payment Application Specialist to manage applying payments, posting to customer accounts, and reconciling balances in a high-volume environment.

The role requires AR experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and collaboration with the credit/collection team. Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, with potential extended hours during month-end and year-end periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively more challenging accounts receivable experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Understanding of back office functions with aspects as AP/AR-Cash/Check Application.

Responsibilities

• Apply payments to customer accounts and post payments.
• Reconcile customer balances and identify discrepancies.
• Perform daily bank and customer account reconciliations.
• Research unidentified accounts and over-payments.
• Interact with the credit/collection department on escalated issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
