Job summary

Integrated Power Services in Denver is seeking a Switchgear Repair Operations Manager to lead testing and repair of low, medium, and high voltage equipment at the Kingston Street Center of Excellence, both in shop and onsite. You will guide a skilled team, ensure safety, and deliver inspection and maintenance reports.

Collaborate with sales to draft quotes, conduct pre-bid walks, manage labor, and drive continuous improvement for an unmatched customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of low, medium, and high voltage switchgear testing, repair, and quoting.
• Experience with health and safety programs including lock-out-tag-out (LOTO).
• Leadership of a repair technician team preferred.
• Two or more years’ experience with low/medium voltage pad mount transformers – testing, oil sampling, component change out preferred.
• NETA certification preferred but not required; MSHA 30 CFR Part 46 certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with various switchgear components and test equipment (done reading diagrams, insulation tests, hi-pot).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain switchgear equipment in shop and onsite.
• Draft quotes and assist with pre-bid walks as needed.
• Lead a team of repair technicians and ensure safety and accountability.
• Prepare and finalize inspection and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate hourly labor to support production schedules and overtime needs.
• Drive continuous improvement and enhance customer-facing metrics.
