A utility service provider is seeking experienced High Voltage Engineers and Technicians for long-term projects across the United States. This hands-on role requires expertise in high voltage testing, relay testing, and substation commissioning. Ideal candidates must have prior utility or T&D experience and be willing to travel. The company offers a W2 contract with perks such as per diem and mobilization pay, ensuring a comprehensive support package for project-based work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a P&C Technician, Relay Technician, or Substation Commissioning Technician.
• Hands-on experience in high-voltage substations.
• Proven relay testing and commissioning experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel for project-based work.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and commission P&C systems in high-voltage substations.
• Perform protective relay testing using OMICRON, Doble, or similar equipment.
• Support substation commissioning, energization, and outage activities.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and utility procedures.
