Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a PCB Designer - Librarian in Fort Collins to own the company’s PCB libraries and design complex, high-density boards for power conversion products using Altium Designer. You will serve as a technical resource throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires experience with high-voltage and high-power PCB designs, EMI/EMC considerations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• : Strong understanding of PCB design requirements for high-voltage, high-current applications.
• : Working knowledge of creepage, clearance, and isolation in PCB layouts.
• : Ability to balance electrical performance, thermal management, manufacturability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Place components and route tracks meeting PCB, electrical, thermal and HV isolation specs.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, fabrication deliverables, and documentation.
• Engage with Electrical, Mechanical, and Firmware Engineers on engineering changes.
• Drive DFM improvements with manufacturing teams.
• Participate in PCB design process improvements.
