Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert Co is seeking a Field Service Test Technician to support substation testing projects across multiple locations, including Denver, Dallas, Phoenix and beyond. You will lead testing crews, ensure safety policies, install and test electrical apparatus, and analyze results to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and high-voltage safety.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Leader in Safety Culture.
• Adhere to all safety policies and PPE usage.
• Participate in safety training programs and meetings.
• Perform testing as a crew lead on projects.
• Ability to install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems during apparatus testing.
• Understand theory behind testing and analyze results.
• Develop and write reports.
• Communicate clearly with internal/external Calisto/metering installations & commissioning.
• Create plans for testing apparatus.
