Transmission & Distribution World is seeking a qualified WG-2800 High Voltage Electrician for a demanding, hands-on position installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems and related controls in support of operational missions.

The role emphasizes safety, the ability to work with transformers, circuit breakers, and control equipment in substations and field environments, requiring physical effort, climbing, and adherence to technical standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems and distribution lines.
• Ability to install, modify, test, and repair HV equipment.
• Experience with safety standards and PPE usage.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, modify, test, and maintain HV electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot distribution circuits and protection systems.
• Work at substations and on facilities, indoors and outdoors.
• Follow safety practices and use PPE.
