Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electric power controlling equipment and distribution lines.
• Install, modify, test, repair, and maintain transformers, converters, regulators, cables, switches, circuit breakers, and related substation elements.
• Adjust relays and control equipment to achieve specified voltage, current, time delay, and other operational characteristics.
• Install and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution lines and related infrastructure.
• Perform emergency repairs on power lines, often while systems are energized, following safety rules and procedures.
