The Resource Co in Eden, NC is seeking a Test Technician to perform precise electrical testing and inspections on voltage regulators and related components in a high-voltage environment. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electrical testing or related technical roles preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final electrical tests on voltage regulators, control boxes, circuits, and measuring devices following procedures and safety standards.
• Verify winding polarity and resistance using polarity testers, micro-ohmmeters, and DC sources.
• Inspect tap changer assemblies and verify insulation integrity through Hi-Pot testing.
• Conduct impedance, current imbalance, and impulse distribution tests with appropriate equipment.
• Configure and verify control systems (TVC, TBR1000, Beckwith controls) for functional performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing drawings for testing and troubleshooting.
• Conduct continuity checks and energize components to confirm proper operation.
