Job summary

Air Liquide in Pasadena, TX is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional to support and enhance safety and reliability of medium/high voltage systems and motors. You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document work in Maximo, coordinating field technicians and vendors.

The role requires at least 5 years in plant electrical maintenance, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work shifts and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

Job description

• Support and comply with all Air Liquide safety, health, and environmental procedures and policies
• Provide technical assistance to field personnel in medium/high voltage motors and distribution equipment
• Manage preventive maintenance of electrical equipment during turnarounds
• Direct and oversee vendor shop repairs on high voltage equipment and motors
• Ensure proper documentation of work within CMMS (Maximo)
• Develop detailed scopes for electrical projects and maintenance activity
• Coordinate Air Liquide and contract technicians to execute maintenance work
• Lead mentoring and training on operation and maintenance of electrical systems and controls
• Maintain PM compliance targets, including 95% or greater PM compliance and 100% EIS PM compliance
• Plan and execute work orders, PM/PdM programs, major electrical maintenance activities, and turnarounds
• Assist with analysis and follow-up of PdM data, including thermography, relay and breaker testing, transformer oil/gas testing, and motor PD/PI testing
• Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis and Vulnerability Studies
• Develop and modify maintenance strategies based on RCA, VS, and Risk Analysis findings
• Participate in maintenance budgeting, scheduling, and turnaround planning
• Ensure spare parts are stocked, stored, and replenished
• Monitor contractor work quality and cost
• Improve plant safety, efficiency, reliability, quality, and housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Experience in troubleshooting plant electrical maintenance problems
• Working knowledge on the use of a CMMS, Maximo preferred
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize work
• Experience in proactive planning and scheduling of maintenance
• Skilled in use of Microsoft Office software
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work extended hours, be on call and shift work as business needs dictate
• Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb and ascend vertical ladders as required
