Job summary

Harba Solutions Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium- and low-voltage electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution equipment, install and commission new electrical infrastructure, and support manufacturing utilities, with a strong emphasis on safety and proper documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing or similar setting.
  • Experience working with high- and medium-voltage electrical systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium- and low-voltage electrical systems (e.g., 480V equipment, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs).
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical distribution equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Install, modify, and commission new electrical equipment and infrastructure.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, PLCs, and control systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, control valve).
  • Diagnose instrumentation failures and perform repairs, calibrations, and replacements as needed.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Support maintenance across facility utilities (water, compressed air, steam, HVAC, etc.).
  • Complete maintenance documentation using GDP/ALCOA+ and CMMS.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and reliability teams to improve equipment performance.
  • Follow site safety procedures, environmental regulations, and cGMP.

Job description

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, including 480V equipment, switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, transformers, and related electrical components.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical distribution equipment to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Install, modify, and commission new electrical equipment and infrastructure.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and associated control systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and control valve instrumentation.
  • Diagnose instrumentation failures and perform repairs, calibrations, and replacements as needed.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Support maintenance activities across facility utility systems such as purified water, compressed air, steam, chilled water, HVAC, glycol, and other critical plant utilities.
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately using Good Documentation Practices (GDP/ALCOA+) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, operations, and reliability teams to improve equipment performance.
  • Follow all site safety procedures, environmental regulations, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience maintaining industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, chemical, or similar industrial environment.
  • Experience working with 4160VAC electrical systems and electrical distribution equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems independently.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
