Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions vital to their industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S., supplying oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, and steel industries.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
This role supports LI NAM operations with a team of electrical engineers and HVE technicians. Responsibilities include providing high-voltage electrical support for maintenance, overseeing vendor repairs, managing preventive maintenance during turnarounds, and ensuring documentation within CMMS (Maximo). You will analyze data, participate in root cause analysis, and develop maintenance strategies to maintain compliance and optimize electrical systems. Your team will deploy maintenance practices systematically and strategically.
- Manage a team of 15-20 Electrical Engineers and HVE Technicians.
- Support and adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Oversee HVE support for maintenance activities and troubleshooting.
- Supervise vendor repairs on high voltage equipment and motors, ensuring quality and standards compliance.
- Manage preventive maintenance of electrical equipment during turnarounds.
- Promote the effective use of CMMS (Maximo) for documentation and planning.
- Review vendor repair and inspection reports, communicating results to plants.
- Develop scopes for electrical projects and maintenance activities.
- Lead engineering of projects with internal teams and contractors.
- Mentor and train staff on electrical system operation and maintenance.
- Maintain at least 95% compliance in electrical work within the PM program and full compliance in EIS PM.
- Ensure no overdue Electrical PMs.
- Plan work orders efficiently in Maximo for routine and turnaround activities.
- Improve PM details and Job Plans following proper procedures.
- Ensure execution and documentation of PM and PdM programs.
- Assist in analysis of PdM data, including thermography and testing.
- Lead root cause analysis and vulnerability studies.
- Develop maintenance strategies based on RCA, VS, and risk analysis.
- Coordinate major electrical maintenance activities and turnarounds.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Contribute to annual maintenance scheduling, budgeting, and planning.
- Promote the Turnaround SOP process.
- Provide feedback on spare parts inventory management.
- Monitor contractor work quality and costs.
- Suggest improvements for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Lead incident reviews and implement improvements.
- Align electrical strategies across all LI NAM plants.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 15+ years of electrical maintenance experience in plants.
- Experience with medium/high voltage systems and motors.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues like motors, switchgear, drives.
- Willingness to travel to LI NAM facilities with short notice.
- Available 24/7 as needed.
- Willing to work extended hours/shifts.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Skilled in Google applications.
- Full range of motion; able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
- Must have valid U.S. employment authorization; no visa sponsorship required.
