Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense Services is seeking an experienced electrical professional for a Head of High Voltage Construction role in Maryland. You will install, maintain, or repair high voltage equipment, read blueprints, diagnose issues, and work with CMMS systems to track maintenance.

Strong communication and hands-on skills are essential, with physical stamina for demanding tasks. The role requires formal apprenticeship or Journeyman/Master certification, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer software programs to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required.
  • Rounded training and experience, usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship, licensed Journeyman or Masters
  • Experience with a Facility CMMS software (CMMS) highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair a variety of electrical equipment as described in job duties.
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts or specifications.
  • Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
  • Perform load calculations or related electrical system analysis.
  • Utilize electrician's hand tools and test/measurement instruments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and assist maintenance team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
